Our Ceiling Baffles Collection transforms PET acoustic felt into suspended architectural systems designed to help control reverberation while introducing structure, rhythm, colour and depth overhead.
Instead of concealing acoustic treatment within the ceiling, our baffles make it part of the design. From interlocking grids and dimensional beams to clean linear fins, the collection allows architects and designers to work with the ceiling as a fifth surface.
Why ceiling baffles?
Suspended acoustic baffles introduce sound-absorbing PET felt into the ceiling zone, where they intercept reflected sound without occupying valuable wall or floor space. Because baffles are suspended rather than installed flat against a surface, multiple faces and edges of the material remain exposed to the room — the ceiling becomes an active part of the acoustic strategy.
Modern interiors increasingly use exposed soffits, visible services and open ceiling architecture. Ceiling baffles work naturally within these environments: systems can be designed around lighting, sprinklers, HVAC, cable trays, speakers, sensors, existing grids and access requirements, positioning individual acoustic elements where they are most effective and visually appropriate.
Grid — modular ceiling structures
Grid systems deliberately retain open space between acoustic elements, keeping the original ceiling and building services visible and accessible while adding a second architectural layer beneath.
Two ways to build Grid: the 12mm precision-cut grid (lightweight, open, modular — square, rectangular, linear, offset, diamond, geometric or organic cells) and the 24mm Cut + Fold grid, where engineered fold lines transition flat sheet material into deeper three-dimensional forms — box-like profiles, folded cells, architectural coffers and custom structures.
Use a single module above a meeting table or reception, repeat modules across a larger ceiling, or run modules together as one continuous architectural system.
Fin — linear acoustic baffles
Suspending PET felt vertically leaves both main faces exposed, allowing sound to interact with the material from multiple directions while the open arrangement maintains access and visibility within the ceiling zone.
Specify length, depth, spacing, direction, colour and suspension height. The lower edge can also be precision cut into profiles — straight, wave, angle, step, arch, curve, rise-and-fall, sawtooth or custom — and when repeated, small changes in individual profiles form much larger patterns across the ceiling.
Beam — acoustic form with greater volume
Where a fin is read primarily as a thin surface, Beam is intended to be read as an object: greater visual presence, stronger shadow lines, more substantial proportions.
Beam can be arranged parallel for strong directional lines, crossed for a structural grid-like appearance, staggered for movement, clustered above particular areas, or mixed in length and depth for a layered ceiling landscape. Spacing becomes as important as the beam itself — tighter spacing creates a stronger presence, wider spacing a lighter composition.
Colour + print overhead
Selected designs can also be explored using finishes from our Printed Acoustic Panel Collection — timber-inspired grains for lightweight acoustic slats and beams, concrete for industrial soffits, stone for premium interiors, or bespoke project-specific surfaces. Print suitability depends on the particular baffle construction and visible faces.
Designing around services & height
Layouts consider light positions, sprinkler coverage, air-conditioning outlets, speakers, smoke detectors, access panels, structural beams, ceiling height, furniture positions and circulation routes. For larger projects, layouts can be coordinated from architectural drawings or reflected ceiling plans.
Changing suspension height can bring acoustic treatment closer to the occupied zone, create intimacy beneath high ceilings, layer compositions, and navigate existing services.
For architects, designers & trade
We work with architects, interior designers, acoustic consultants, main and fit-out contractors, ceiling contractors, workplace specialists, joinery companies, furniture manufacturers, hospitality, retail and education designers, and resellers.
For project applications, provide the ceiling dimensions, reflected ceiling plan and service positions where available so the proposed acoustic layout can be coordinated with the wider interior.
Bespoke ceiling baffles
Feasibility depends on material behaviour, span, suspension requirements, fire strategy, ceiling construction and structural loading.
